He graduated as Doctor and Gynecologist from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara.

Fellow in Laparoscopy at the University of Kiel, Germany.

He successfully completed the fellowships of Human Reproduction
and Assisted Reproduction at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, Kentucky and
in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

He has participated as speaker at differtent Symposiums around the world on Human Reproduction
around the world

PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

He is head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Puerta de Hierro Medical Center
and professor of the Subspecialty “Human Reproduction Biology” at the
University of Guadalajara

He is currently Medical Director of the Instituto Mexicano de Infertilidad in Guadalajara
of Advanced Fertility Center in Cancun and of The Fertility Center by IMI in Tijuana

He is also an active member of the International Society for Fertility Preservation
and founding member of the International Society of Uterus Transplantation (UTx)

Ovulation induction

1998: THE CLINIC BEGINS

Making the most advanced and best services and treatments for assisted reproduction available to the Mexican public.

2004: FIRST VITRIFICATION PROCEDURE IN MEXICO.

"Juanito" is the first baby in Mexico and second in Latin America through Vitrification (freezing of ovum).

2005: JUANITO IS BORN

In February 2005, the first Mexican baby was born through vitrification.

2007: 2ND BABY IN THE WORLD BY IN VITRO MATURATION + VITRIFICATION

"Lupita" is born, the 2nd Baby in the world from the sum of these two techniques, together with Ri Cheng Ciang, we mature them in vitro and in addition to the Vitrification technique of Masashige Kuwayama.

2013 first ovarian transplant in Latin America.

This is a 32-year-old woman who suffered from cervical uterine cancer that represented a greater risk for the surgical intervention, but in the end it was performed successfully.

In March 2018, 4 patients with ovarian failure are treated with IN VITRO ACTIVATION (IVA) together with Kazuhiro Kawumura.
